Our community gathering spots are just what you need for a fierce volleyball match or grill-out by the lake with your friends, classmates and neighbors. As the area`s only University-supported community, University Place is conveniently located a 1/2 mile from the main campus, encircling a beautiful, picturesque lake. Housing nearly 1,000 students in 21 apartment-style buildings, University Place offers an Activity House equipped with an exercise and fitness center, outdoor pool and hot tub and a social room with a wide screen Plasma TV, along with an air hockey table and a foosball table. University Place also features basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor grills, and plenty of picnic tables. Each apartment is furnished with a washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove, garbage disposal, upholstered sofa and chair, television stand, dinning room table and chairs. All bedrooms have private bathrooms and a shared tub/shower. Each bedroom is furnished with a cable TV connection, high-speed Internet connection, double bed, chest of drawers, desk and chair with a wall length closet.
