About Montgomery

As the capital city of Alabama, Montgomery has plenty to offer in regards of educational opportunities, off campus student housing, and entertainment. Montgomery is located in central Louisiana and is the second-largest city in the state. There are eleven colleges and universities located in and around Montgomery. Students can find convenient college apartments near Alabama State University, Troy University, and Auburn University at Montgomery-as well as, Faulkner University, Huntingdon College, and H. Councill Trenholm State Technical College.


Maxwell Air Force Base is the headquarters for Air University. Air University is the United States Air Force’s university for military education.
